Kimberly Kelly is a music recording artist from the United States. The country singer and songwriter from Tennessee just released her first album titled "I'll Tell You What's Gonna Happen". Now she has premiered the music video for the her song "Summers Like That" off of the album.
Summers Like That is a song where Kelly is reminiscing on her favorite summer. She gives the listener a small piece of the good and a small of the bad, but all of it made for a memorable time. She notes the sad part of how time keeps going further and further away from the memories you keep no matter how close they feel to you.
The music video, directed by Tyler Barksdale, premiered on June 17, 2022. The music video builds upon the songs theme of reminiscing. It has Kelly singing alone at different areas of an empty house followed by flashbacks of her younger self in the same spot spending time with what is presumably her boyfriend. The later it switches to a carnival or a fair where she is sitting in a a car alone thinking about being in the carnival with the same guy.
