Mike Burke is a rising country singer from the United States. Burke has already won awards for songwriting since 2016 such as Nashville's "Writer to Watch" and in 2018 he was named Southwest Airlines' "Artist on the Rise". Now he is showing the world what they saw in him with the release of his self-titled EP.
On May 29, 2020 Mike Burke released his EP "Mike Burke". The EP consist of a collection of 4 tracks all of which are personal and give the audience a chance to connect with Burke. The first track, "Born to Love My Dream" tells a story of a person who is lonely and is longing for companionship but it burdened with the isolation chasing his goals brings. "Feeling" is a song that follows the theme of chasing the dream with a different, more optimistic, feel to it. "Won't Give Up" is a song about a hopeless romantic that refuses to change their idea of what love should be. To end the EP Mike has "So Much Love" which is a song that making sure you let love keep you strong and to let is assist you in your darkest hours.
