Morgan Gold is a music recording artist from the United States. The r&b singer and songwriter from Chicago has been releasing music since 2021 with her track titled "Temptation". Morgan premiered the music video for her song "Empty" off of her album "Midas" which was released on July 8, 2022.
Empty is a song opening up to someone she has interest in and plays as a one side conversation. She starts off speaking about her person of interest then transitions into asking what they are looking for or want from her. Stating her feelings and she connects the title in later on noting that she's not there just to be used.
The music video, directed by Jason Kaplan, premiered on July 1, 2022. The opening shots are of different landmarks in Chicago and the opening scene ends with an arial shot of planetarium skyline walk which plays apart later. The majority of the video is separated into 2 sections one is the story as she walks through the city by herself and the other is separate of the story and is just Morgan sing. The video continues to include different shots of the city and the video ends with Morgan Gold reaching her destination with the same arial shot as in the opening but this time with Morgan sitting looking at the famous Chicago city skyline.
